Your story can inspire change

Birth is one of life’s most profound and transformative experiences, yet too often, the voices of birthing parents go unheard. At the Sacred Birth Centre, we believe that every birth story matters—whether it was empowering, challenging, or somewhere in between. By sharing your experience, you help break the silence, build understanding, and contribute to a movement that reclaims birth as a respected, supported journey.

Why we are collecting stories

To Change the Narrative – Too many parents experience trauma, fear, or disempowerment in birth. By sharing real experiences, we shed light on the gaps in maternity care and work toward better support systems.

To Inspire & Educate – Your story has the power to inform and encourage others, helping expectant parents navigate their own birth choices with confidence.
To Advocate for Change – Every shared story strengthens our #ChangeTheNumber campaign, which aims to reduce birth trauma and improve maternity care.

Share your story

We welcome all birth stories—whether you had a home birth, hospital birth, cesarean, induction, or a loss. Your experience is important, and by sharing it, you become part of a growing movement to create more awareness, more support, and better outcomes for future parents.

Connect with us to share your story—whether written, recorded, or as part of a conversation. You can remain anonymous if you prefer.

Your voice matters. Your experience matters. Together, we can change the way birth is seen, supported, and experienced.
