FAQ
The Sacred Birth Centre (SBC) is a pioneering initiative dedicated to holistic, respectful, and empowering birth practices. We offer education, advocacy, and community support to help parents, birth workers, and professionals reclaim birth as a transformative, supported experience.
The centre is for anyone who believes birth matters—expectant parents, birth professionals (midwives, doulas, educators), and those seeking a more conscious and holistic approach to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.
At this time, we do not provide direct birthing services. Instead, we focus on connecting individuals with birth service providers, education, awareness raising, and community support to help people access informed, respectful care during their pregnancy and birth journey.
We offer:
🌿 Preconception & fertility support
🌿 Holistic pregnancy & birth preparation (classes, workshops, mentoring)
🌿 Postnatal & newborn care resources
🌿 Loss & bereavement support (for miscarriage, stillbirth, and pregnancy loss)
🌿 Advocacy to improve maternity care & reduce birth trauma
Our #ChangeTheNumber campaign is an advocacy movement to reduce birth trauma—currently affecting 1 in 3 parents—by promoting respectful, evidence-based, and mother-centered care. We believe no one should feel unheard, unsafe, or unsupported during birth.
