There are some things in the world that we know should exist.
The Sacred Birth Centre is one of those places. A place where birth is honoured. Where families are held and where stories are witnessed.
This is a place where the community gathers around one of life’s most profound thresholds.
The Centre now exists, but like all meaningful places, it needs to be held, not just operationally, but relationally, financially, and with a steady belief in its place in community.

The Commitment
A Financial and Energetic Contribution
To be part of the Founding Circle is to make a financial and energetic commitment to the Sacred Birth Centre.
The financial contribution supports the Centre's stability, accessibility, and future.
We offer a range of ways to contribute:
-
Monthly contribution
-
Annual contribution
-
One-off founding gift
What matters is not the amount but the energetic commitment to stand with us and support the culture shift that places mothers and children back at the centre of our culture.
It is a commitment to stand behind this work in a tangible way.
A question?
You may want to sit with this:
Do I want this place to exist in the world?
And if I do… am I willing to help hold it, financially and energetically?

FAQ's
Is this a governance or decision-making role?
No. The Founding Circle is not a formal governance body. It is a circle of support, stewardship and belief.
How much time is required?
Very little. There is no expectation of regular involvement. Occasional updates and optional gatherings will be offered.
Do I need to live locally?
No. Many members may not be based in Glastonbury.
Is the financial contribution fixed?
We offer suggested levels, but we are open to conversation. What matters most is commitment and alignment.
How are members selected?
We are curating a small, coherent group of 22. We will respond personally to each expression of interest.
Can I leave the circle later?
Yes. While we hope members join with commitment, we understand that circumstances change.
Can I claim tax relief on my contribution?
The Sacred Birth Centre is a not-for-profit organisation limited by guarantee which means all profits go back to funding the work of the organisation. We are not a registered charity so currently any donation would not be eligible for tax relief.
